Royal Enfield, en collaboration avec son importateur exclusif SIMA (Société d'importation de motos et accessoires), prolonge ses offres spéciales sur la prime à l'immatriculation pour une sélection de ses modèles emblématiques jusqu'au 30 septembre 2024.
Alors que les préoccupations environnementales poussent l'industrie vers une électrification accrue, Royal Enfield ne fait pas exception et se prépare à entrer dans l'arène des motos électriques. La célèbre marque, connue pour ses motos au style rétro, prévoit de lancer sa toute première moto électrique dès l'année prochaine. Cette nouvelle a été confirmée par B. Govindarajan, le PDG de Royal Enfield, lors d'une interview avec le Financial Times, où il a promis un design "magnifique" et "très distinctif" pour ce nouveau modèle.
La gamme des bicylindres 650 de Royal Enfield compte un nouveau représentant : la Shotgun 650. Après la Continental GT et l’Interceptor, le constructeur indien reprend la base de l’excellente Meteor afin de la transformer en bobber custom à roue de 19 pouces à l’avant. Peut-elle suffisamment se démarquer ? Évidemment. Et avec la manière !
Sur l’excellente base de l’Himalayan 450, et toujours avec le monocylindre Sherpa, Royal Enfield décline une moto plus « légère » et plus agile, que l’on compare volontiers aux nouvelles Triumph Scrambler ou Speed 400. Sans oublier un modèle aujourd’hui disparu du catalogue : la Scrambler Sixty Two de Ducati, elle aussi en 400. Son point fort ? Un tarif débutant à 5 540 €, une cylindrée supérieure et l’image de la marque indienne, en constante amélioration. Ce roadster nouvelle génération n’a cependant rien de standard : il réinterprète le genre à la sauce indienne et le moins que l’on puisse dire, c’est que c’est épicé. Envoyez la sauce !
